Everyone has a story.

I’ve spent more than a dozen years in media and publishing but it didn’t take three months to figure out that everyone has a story. Humans are special, interesting and unique. Everyone has dragons to slay and journeys to face. The challenge is uncovering and communicating those stories in the best way possible.

Some of the most impactful stories I’ve amplified came through my work as editor-in-chief of Tusaayaksat Magazine, a high-quality publication documenting Inuvialuit life in Canada’s Western Arctic. I was fortune to visit their communities, spend time in their homes and participate on the land. Along the way, I met some of the greatest people I’ve known and took photos, and heard stories, I will never forget. Enjoy a small selection of the beauty I witnessed.

The Hansen Health Academy

There’s not much I respect more than entrepreneurship. I find the risk-taking, innovation and energy required fascinating. I collaborated with a personal trainer in Whitehorse to conceive, outline, write and produce a technical communication product for his fitness business. Check out the full PDF here.
